BEHIND THE LENS

Jared Doster is from Huntsville, Tx where he is a proud alumni of Sam Houston State University. As an undergraduate he double majored earning a B.S. Industrial Design and a B.F.A in Dance in 2010. From 2010 to 2016 Jared danced professionally for Pilobolus Dance Theatre where he toured internationally performing in the evening length show "Shadowland." In the Fall of 2018 Jared graduated with is M.F.A in Dance and plans to continue his career as a professor of dance and educator in the arts.

 

It was through dance that Jared discovered an affinity for cinematography and creating dance films. This interest naturally expanded into real estate and portrait photography and continues to fuel and influence his artistic vision.

 

Pulling from his background and experience in choreography, Jared is a natural directer and is very outgoing and personable while working with clients and photography subjects. He strives to create an environment that is comfortable and easy going at every shoot and location.
